The first two were ink practices over the respective artists. I like John Busecma's story telling and just the characterization of his drawings. In this one the cat in the drunken stupor was my favorite to ink. The second one was by Randy Green. I liked the simplicity and design to this page. Skottie Young's style reminds me of Randy's. I am referring to the pencils. In the pencil stage Randy's style is very angular and exact, however I tried to make the square round so to speak. In both drawings I wanted to experiment with using a crayon to obtain different effects. I now have a good idea how I will incorporate this in future drawings.
The last one is completely original moi. This will be a print I plan to sell in Texas at the Wizard Con. As a matter of fact it will be part of a 20+ pin-up set I plan to sell as prints. I am going to redraw all my Australia X-Men with some improvements i.e. hands and hair. After I'm done warming up with the pinups then it's onto drawing/inking the little samples stories involving the Batman Univ. Hopefully after 20+ pin-ups I'll be dialed in, tuned up and ready to go!
